The following documents summarize my professional and academic work.

LaunchHouse, PR & Marketing Intern
John Carroll University, Integrated Marketing Communications
| | Project: Integrated Marketing Plan | | Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop | | Course: Senior Capstone | |
| | Client: Seeds of Hope, Big Brothers Big Sisters program at John Carroll University | |
For my senior capstone project, I created an integrated marketing communication plan for the student organization, Seeds of Hope (Big Brothers Big Sisters), at JCU. The semester-long project required research, which was conducted on the members of the organization to earn insider opinion. The plan developed a significant improvement in the Seeds of Hope brand with a clear mission statement, tagline, and logo. This project employed a majority of my skills I have gained as an IMC major. The client was very pleased with the extent of the research and strategies and tactics. The proposed campaign will be put into effect next semester leading into Fall 2014.

| | Project: PR Writing | | Press Release, Media Kit, Marketing Strategies | | Course: Public Relations | |
| | Client: Clothesline Cards & Stationary, my hypothetical stationary company | |
For my Public Relations class, I dreamt up my own card and stationary business to advertise through a series of writing assignments. *Please note Clothesline Cards & Stationary is not an actual company.* I learned the keys of PR writing through press releases, media alerts, public service announcements, marketing plans and more. My interest in public relations has only expanded since taking this course in Fall 2012. These assignments introduced me to the importance of clear, concise writing for the purpose of informing and sending a succinct message.

| | Project: The National Senior Games - Cleveland, OH - Summer 2013 | | Course: Event Planning | |
| | Client: Greater Cleveland Sports Commission | |
For this semester-long assignment, I worked with my class to create a coherent plan to market the National Senior Games that were held in downtown Cleveland July 19 through August 1, 2013. Our client was the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission, specifically working through Lauren Grys, Volunteer Coordinator. The class was subdivided into three groups: Volunteers, Community Involvement, and Destinations. As a member of the Community Involvement group, my group and I developed an action plan, social media campaigns using Facebook and twitter, print media (postcards), and press releases to attract attendees from the Greater Cleveland area. I took on the leadership role in coordinating the three groups with the Prezi (displayed above), intergroup communication, and presentation day preparations.

| | Project: Various Design | | Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, & Flash | | Course: Multi Media | |
My Multi Media course allowed me to explore Adobe CS6 on a more serious level. We were given guidelines with a generous allowance of creative freedom for the assignments. My favorite designs are included above and represent my developing skills. All of my designs are based on fictitious ideas.

| | Community Relations Internship at Fisher-Price | |
| | East Aurora, New York | | Summer 2013 | |
As the Community Relations intern for Fisher-Price, I assisted with corporate announcements, drafted the biweekly newsletter, arranged plans for volunteer events with Habitat for Humanity, The United Way, and Ronald McDonald House of WNY, and organized toy donations for local non-profits. My writing samples are contained under the company's confidentiality policy, but that does not take away from the high quality of my internship experience.
